What is friend-adding (buying friends)?
Service accounts prepared by the provider add your LINE Official Account as a friend, raising the friend count. They are not potential customers: the count looks bigger, but they will not bring orders, replies or engagement. Results still depend on how you run and promote the account.
A LINE Official Account has no limit on the number of friends, so you will not run out of room; what to watch is the message quota your broadcasts use (see below).

Prices are in US dollars, and the order page always shows the current price. Choose regular friends if they should be able to receive messages; choose blocked friends if you only need the count and do not want broadcasts to use more of your quota.
Does buying friends raise your message costs?
LINE counts messages by the number of people they are delivered to: one message sent to 1,000 friends counts as 1,000 messages. People who blocked you receive nothing and are not counted; regular friends are counted like any other friend when you broadcast to all friends.
Plans and prices differ by country. Free plans include a limited number of messages a month (for example 200 in Taiwan and Japan, 300 in Thailand), and paid plans include more for a monthly fee; check LINE's official page for your country.
Example: with 1,000 regular friends and one broadcast a week to all friends, you send about 4,000 messages a month. If the added friends are only there for the count, blocked friends use none of that quota; you can also send broadcasts to a chosen audience only.
How long does it take?
Orders usually start being processed on the day they are placed and typically gain from a few dozen to about a hundred friends a day; actual speed depends on the quantity and the current schedule, and the Orders page shows the progress. For larger quantities, split the order into several orders so the count grows steadily.

- Enter the LINE ID of your Official Account, starting with @ (for example @abc1234), not a lin.ee or line.me link.
- Enter the quantity, check the total and pay by card, ATM or convenience store (ECPay) or cryptocurrency.
- Follow the progress on the Orders page.

What to know before you buy
- LINE manages accounts under its own rules; we cannot guarantee whether friends will be removed or how the platform will treat an account.
- The friends are service accounts: they will not become customers, reply or engage.
- Follow LINE's terms and the law; do not use the service for fraud, impersonation or anything illegal. If LINE suspends the Official Account, its friends are affected too.
